Sarku Japan, the largest and most successful Japanese quick-service restaurant chain in the U.S., continues to expand globally with a major franchise deal in South America. Sarku Japan and Frisby Corporation entered a multi-year master license agreement to open 20 Sarku Japan restaurants in Colombia over the next 10 years. |

Hilton Worldwide plans to open two new hotels in Europe in the cities of Warsaw and Lodz, Poland.
Hilton said that the properties will open by the end of 2012. Both are within the Doubletree by Hilton brand. The Doubletree by Hilton Warsaw Conference Centre and Spa will be operated by Polaris Hospitality Enterprises Sp.z.o.o, and the Doubletree by Hilton Lodz will be operated by Film Hotel Sp.z.o.o. |

USA-based pizza restaurant franchise, Pizza Inn, has opened two restaurants in Saudi Arabia. The restaurants were the first to open as part of a Master Franchise agreement between Pizza Inn and United Food Company, a subsidiary of Abdullah Abunayyan Group, which will see 44 Pizza Inn locations open throughout Saudi Arabia.

Anytime Fitness Inc. has signed a franchise deal for Japan, the company said in a news release Tuesday. The master franchise group, Fast Fitness Japan Inc., will operate as Anytime Fitness Japan, led by Toru Yamazaki, the former chief executive of Japan's fifth largest health club chain, Megalos. |
